Subject: Request for Urgent Assistance in Restoring the Dilapidated BILLIRI General Hospital

Dear Governor Yahaya,

I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. I am writing to bring your attention to the deteriorating state of BILLIRI General Hospital, an essential healthcare facility in BILLIRI Local Government Area (LGA). I would like to request your urgent intervention to address the lamentable conditions of the hospital.

Billiri General Hospital, which serves as the primary healthcare provider for our community, is currently in an alarming state of disrepair. The infrastructure of the hospital is crumbling, posing significant risks to the patients, staff, and the surrounding community. This once-prominent facility has fallen into a state of neglect, compromising the quality of healthcare services provided to the people of BILLIRI LGA.

The deteriorating conditions of BILLIRI General Hospital continue to cause great distress amongst the community, as it struggles to cater adequately to the healthcare needs of our residents. The hospital lacks basic amenities and facilities, such as functioning medical equipment, well-maintained wards, and a dependable power supply. Furthermore, the absence of well-equipped operating rooms and inadequate staffing further aggravates the already dire situation.

Given the critical importance of the hospital, I humbly request your assistance in improving the state of BILLIRI General Hospital. The transformation and revitalization of the hospital’s infrastructure is not only essential for the wellbeing of the residents but will also contribute significantly to the overall healthcare development and access in Gombe State.

I kindly implore you to consider the following urgent measures:

  1. Immediate allocation of a substantial budget for the renovation and upgrading of BILLIRI General Hospital.
  2. Deployment of a team of experts to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the infrastructure, equipment, and medical services required to restore the hospital to optimal functionality.
  3. Provision of adequate funding for the purchase of essential medical equipment, supplies, and drugs.
  4. Recruitment and deployment of additional healthcare personnel to ensure optimal staffing levels.
  5. Regular monitoring and evaluation of the hospital’s progress to ensure sustained improvements.

I firmly believe that with your esteemed leadership and commitment to the welfare of the people of Gombe State, the issues facing BILLIRI General Hospital can be remedied. Your timely intervention will alleviate the suffering of our community and restore confidence in the healthcare system.

Thank you for your attention to this urgent matter. I am hopeful that you will give this request the utmost consideration and take appropriate actions to rectify the situation.

Yours sincerely,

Uncle Sam A Nadabo
