A former spokesperson of Peoples Democratic Party Presidential candidate Daniel Bwala, on Wednesday, said he is committed to supporting the administration of President Bola Tinubu, even if that requires him to defect to the All Progressives Congress.
Prior to his defection Bwala was in the APC and a staunch supporter of former President Muhammadu Buhari, before moving to the PDP to work for Atiku Abubakar.
“I told him today (Tinubu), I am committing to play my part to support your administration, and I have no apologies to anybody,” Bwala told State House correspondents after closed-door talks with the President at the Aso Rock Villa, Abuja.
“APC is a party. President Bola Tinubu is my motivation; if supporting him will take me to APC, so be it,” he stated when asked if he would defect to the APC.
According to a source former Atiku Spokesperson is “begging Asiwaju to bring him back, He is regretting leaving APC, and miss a golden opportunity because prior to APC primaries Tinubu promised him Garba Shehu Position, now his regretting his action and hoping Tinubu to consider.”
