The Federal Government on Thursday disclosed that it has amended charges against former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele.
PERISCOPE NIGERIA reports that from six charges now to 20.
Some of the charges include Criminal breach of trust, Forgery, Conspiracy to commit forgery, Procurement Fraud and Conspiracy to commit Felony.
Recall that a Federal High Court recently awarded charges against Federal Government for forceful detention among others. The judgement Economic and Financial Crimes Commission said it would appeal adding that Emefiele’s detention followed court approval.
