The Federal government has commenced work on the dual 260km road leading from Makurdi – Enugu.
The Minister of Works, David Umahi, who flagged off the exercise also disclosed the construction of a flyover at the wurukum round-about in Makurdi, the Benue state capital.
These roads will improve socio Economic activities and access to towns, and communities.
It will also improve security, by reducing robbery and kidnappings on the highway.
