Two contradictory orders by Federal High Court in Abuja, Nigeria has issued a warrant for the arrest of the chief of staff to the Rivers State Governor, Edison Ehie for his alleged involvement in the burning of the State House of Assembly.
While, A Rivers State High Court sitting in Port Harcourt has granted an ex-parte motion filed by Edison Ehie, Chief of Staff to Governor Sim Fubara, against the Nigerian Police.
Recall that in the hit of the Rivers crisis the House of Assembly was burnt which prevented majority of the house from proceeding with impeaching Governor Siminalayi Fubara.
Reports are rude that the current Chief of Staff to the Governor of Rivers State masterminded the burning that saved Fubara.
