The Federal Government has inaugurated a 37-man Tripartite Committee with a mandate to recommend a new National Minimum Wage for Nigeria.

The brief ceremony which held this Tuesday at the Executive Council chambers of the Presidential villa in Abuja, was presided over by Vice President Kashim Shettima, who stood in for President Bola Tinubu.
Periscope Nigeria reports that the committee is to among other things resolve the quagmire surrounding the National minimum wage in relation to current realities.
Recall the letter issued by Secretary to Government of the Federation George Akume, announcing its members who spread around governors (politicians), captains of industries and many others.
