The House Representatives on Thursday directed Ministry of Health to return N10 billion for production of COVID-19 Vaccine into Federation Account.
The Committee says the production of COVID-19 Vaccine for which N10 billion was approved & released, “was not done and the money not returned to government’s coffers.”
Recall that Coronavirus pandemic was a topical issue years back as Federal Government and development partners were said to have invested heavily in cure and prevention.
Periscope Nigeria reports that the pandemic was alleged as a major conduit for most government agencies, individuals and organisations following the huge budgetary allocation.
With this call by Representatives in the green chamber, more revelation would emerge into another major gate.
