The Independent National Electoral Commission has declared the candidate of Action Democratic Party, Dachung Pam Mwadkon, as the winner for the Plateau North Senatorial election conducted on Saturday .
The INEC Returning Officer, Professor Nestor Monday, who announced the results in the early hours of Monday said that the ADP candidate scored 122,442 to defeat other candidates who participated in the exercise .
Other results as announced by the Returning Officer showed that Giwa Chris of the APC scored 39,132 votes ;Hamisu Nasiru , APM 933 ;Gyang Yaya Zi of the LP ,33243;Yakub Muhammad of the NNPP, 53980 ;Kumusu Ahoro of the NRM , 126;Yahaya Kwande of the PRP , 11054;Ibrahim Uba of the SDP, 890 and Francis Paul of the ZLP ,343.
Similarly ,the electoral body has also declared the candidate of the Labour Party,Daniel Asama as the winner for Bassa/Jos North Federal constituency of the state .
The Returning Officer for the election Prof. Garba John announced the results in the early hours of Monday after collation of scores from the two LGAs that make up the federal constituency
He said that the LP candidate polled 66422 votes to emerge victorious while Muhammad Bala of the ADC got 2090 votes
Other votes received by the candidates as announced by the Returning Officer showed that Hassan Ibrahim Baba of the APC got 1063 votes;Umar Muhammad of the APP 331;Hassan Yakub of the APP 2475;Jirgi Yusuf of the NRM 669;Adamu Muhammed Alkali of the PRP ,61670;Ismaila Muhammad of the SDP ,336 .
