Concerned Persons With Disabilities of Nigeria has hailed the Bayelsa Governor, Douye Diri, his deputy Lawrence Ewhrudjakpor, on their second term in office.
The group disclosed this on Tuesday in a press statement obtained by PERISCOPE NIGERIA, signed by the President, Ikilowei Eric, ascribing Diri and Ewhrudjakpor’s victory as dint of hard work for humanity and Persons With Disabilities.
Eric noted that the CPWDN is happy to be associated with the winning team, assuring continued support to the administration.
The statement partly read, “The leadership, stakeholders and the entire members of the Concerned Persons With Disabilities of Nigeria humbly wish to felicitate with His Excellency, Gov. Douye Diri, Deputy Gov. Lawrence Ewhrudjakpor, and the entire prosperity team for a successful second term inauguration as Governor and Deputy Governor of our dear State, Bayelsa!
“His Excellency Sir, your victory at the poll and the successful inauguration is based on your credible performance and for running all inclusive administration during your first term!
“His Excellency Sir, as a governor who has been running all inclusive administrations, we hereby seize this opportunity to remind and plead with you for more appointments for Persons With Disabilities in Bayelsa State such as: SAs, SSAs, Commissioner positions, head of agencies, parastatals, etc.”
While praying to God to prosper the team with the needed ingredients to deliver on its second term promises, Eric added, “We pray God Almighty to give you the needed wisdom to pilot the affairs of Bayelsa State in the next four years!”
