Edo State Deputy Governor, Philip Shaibu, has visited the Peoples Democratic Party headquarters to request the certificate of return.
Recall that Shaibu who was alleged to have emerged as a parallel gubernatorial candidate of the PDP.
Also, Asue Ighodalo, was said to have emerged as a candidate recognised by the party leadership.
Speaking during a protest visit Shaibu said, “Today is the day set aside for the collection of certificate of return for the winner of the primary. I understand someone came yesterday and was given, well, the court will decide.”
