Gunmen suspected to be Jukun militia on Wednesday attacked Akinde, Tse Yongo, Tse Adem and Tse Ahikyegh Communities in Donga Local Government Area of Taraba, and killed three people with many residents sustaining various gunshots of injuries.
A kindred head of Ugondo, Zaki Uma Ugondo, told journalists on the phone that the attacked was more like a joint attack by suspected military men and Jukun militia.
Zaki Ugondo alleged that the attackers whom many were in military uniform, also rolled on over 30 military motorcycles and attacked the villages.
“They came on over 30 military motorcycles while many of them were in military uniform. At first when villagers saw them, they thought the army were coming for good, not knowing that they were coming with our killers. They came and quickly open fire on the villagers.
“They first invaded Akinde before proceeding to Tse Yongo, Tse Adem and Tse Ahikyegh Communities. They came through Wukari and invaded the Communities. They killed, Luper Unongo,Tony Yongo and Gerigori Akinde, while many others who sustained gunshot injuries are currently receiving treatment at different hospitals,” Zaki Ugondo narrated.

This is just a mere Denied, some eye witness in the those communities testified that, the aftermath of the attarck, some military men came from Donga local government to address people at Tor- Damsa, they said some of their men are missing in those areas the attarck took place,
My question now is that, what took the military in those bush where people where peaceful living their lives?
How can they justify this act because, on that very day they claim they went to those village, it was that same day They attarck those communities,
The federal government should work tirelessly to fetch out those bad eggs in the nigerian military thats my submission 💔💔💔
How on Earth, where is it done, where army that should be protecting innocent lives are rather colluding with a tribe in the state to kill and destroy others? It’s a pity. Federal government should hasten to rescue this ugly and unconstitutional act.
I’m a physical victim of this mayhem. They killed my very good friends and our house was burnt with properties worth millions. What a state. I never knew it is a crime for one to be indigene of Taraba state.
