Mali is alleged to be forcing its youths to show solidarity on their decision to leave Economic Community of West Africa States.
This was contained in a letter signed which was obtained by PERISCOPE NIGERIA.
Recall that on Sunday Mali, Niger and Burkina Faso exited the ECOWAS citing varying reasons including lack of integration.
The translation of the letter reads that the Malian Government, through the Minister of Youth and Sports, called for popular mobilisation to support the decision to withdraw from ECOWAS from Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger on Thursday February 1, 2024, simultaneously in all regions from Mali.
