President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has assigned Vice President Kashim Shettima, the responsibility of leading an official delegation to attend the final match of the African Cup of Nations in Côte d’Ivoire.

Recall that earlier the presidency had promised that Tinubu would be present as a mark of honour for the feat of the Super Eagles.
During a past video conference the Skipper of the team Ahmed Musa, had urged Tinubu to watch the team live to boost their morale, this was after Minister of Sports Minister John Enah, had stated that the President was unimpressed with their narrow escape.
With the current statement issued by the presidency, Shettima would lead the high-powered delegation to watch the team play against its host, the Ivorian national set.
