Former United States President, Trump urged Special Counsel Jack Smith, to promptly withdraw all charges against him in the case concerning his classified records.
Recall that Trump had described Smith as “deranged,” in the past.
This plea comes in light of the recent decision not to pursue charges against President Biden for his possession of sensitive national security documents.
Our correspondent reports that the request for withdrawal is part of effort to set the ex-president’s return to power easier.
