The President of Nigeria Bola Tinubu, has ordered Defence Headquarters to unravel the killers of 16 military officers in Delta State.
PERISCOPE NIGERIA reports that the officers were alleged to have been involved in peacekeeping in the Niger-Delta before they were ambushed and killed by some youths.
Tinubu who expressed his commitment to securing the country said his administration would not tolerate an attempt to tamper with critical make up of governance especially the army.
He said, “The Defence Headquarters and Chief of Defence Staff have been granted full authority to bring to justice anybody found to have been responsible for this unconscionable crime against the Nigerian people.
“My government will not relent until we achieve peace and tranquillity in every part of Nigeria.”
I support Mr. President. The killers must be brought to justice. We are not in a banana Republic, haba.
