The identities of the two Binance executives who have been detained by the Nigerian government have been verified, they are Tigran Gambaryan and Nadeem Anjarwalla, pivotal figures at Binance.
Gambaryan used to work for the U.S. IRS-CI Cyber Crimes Unit and now leads the criminal investigations team at Binance. Anjarwalla is in charge of Binance’s African operations in Kenya, and interestingly, he has both British and Kenyan citizenships.
Yuki, Gambaryan’s wife, shares that both guys are currently held in Abuja without being told what the investigation is for. She mentions that she regularly talks to her husband, who, like Nadeem, is allowed to use his phone while being supervised.
