The Federal Government says its preparing to conduct public hearings regarding the National Minimum Wage.
Recall that last week the Nigeria Labour Congress embarked on protest on the hardship prevailing in the country.
The Congress overtime, has requested for N1m as minimum wage to shock workers hardship.
Periscope Nigeria reports that the hearings are scheduled to take place in Yola, Kano, Abuja, Uyo, Enugu, and Lagos.
As stakeholders move to gather valuable perspectives and suggestions from different stakeholders.
“The ultimate goal is to formulate a minimum wage policy that is both equitable and enduring,” the notice stated.
