The Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has given his approval for the acquisition of 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination forms for all qualified Kano State indigenes.
The Kano State Government requested that individuals who have achieved a minimum of five credits in their O Levels, are to benefit.
Kano authorities noted that beneficiaries must include Mathematics and English, and have not yet signed up for the UTME, urging them to visit the KERD office located along Atiku Abubakar Road, Gandun Albasa, to collect their application forms.
PERISCOPE NIGERIA reports that Yusuf’s move is geared towards ensuring that the mass population gets the necessary education in order to favourably compete.
However, investigation conducted by this paper reveals that Governor Yusuf’s motive may meet brick wall over spike in tuition fees nationwide as many indigent persons dropped out for failing to meet registration timeframe.
