The Peoples Democratic Party National Chairman, Umar Damagum, says his aspiration would be to have a female Nigerian president.
He said, “I really wish for a woman to become the next President of Nigeria.”
Damagun pointed out that men have failed the present generation of Nigerians.
During the PDP International Women’s Day 2024 event held at the party’s national headquarters in Abuja on Friday, Damagum, represented by the PDP National Secretary Samuel Anyanwu, spoke up about this.
International Women’s Day is a worldwide occasion that honours the accomplishments of women in various social, economic, cultural, and political aspects, all the while advancing the movement for gender equality.
