The United Kingdom has said that the news about King Charles III passing away on Sunday is not true.
A communication from Buckingham Palace confirmed that the King is currently undergoing cancer treatment but is still alive and recovering.
It is anticipated that the King will be present at this year’s Trooping the Colour event
PERISCOPE NIGERIA reports that king Charles was diagnosed with a form of cancer which led to postponement on public-facing duties, Buckingham Palace said in a statement on February 5.
The type of cancer has not been revealed but the king has started “regular treatments” and will continue to “undertake State business and official paperwork as usual,” said the statement.
