Six members of the Enugu Assembly have defected from the Labour Party to the Peoples Democratic Party.
PERISCOPE NIGERIA reports that PDP is the governing party in the state.
The six members were elected house members during the gubernatorial and house of assembly poll in 2023, which was conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
The list of defectors include
Ejike Eze, (Igbo-Eze North 1)
Johnson Ugwu (Enugu North
Princess Ugwu (Enugu South Rural)
Pius Ezeugwu (Nsukka West)
Amuka Williams (Igbo-Etiti East)
Osita Eze (Oji River).
