No fewer than seven indigenes were on Friday, offered employment with the Gombe State Polytechnic Bajoga, inline with Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya’s job creation initiatives for the teeming youths in the state.

Presenting letters of appointment to the beneficiaries, Yahaya tasked them to offer the best service in their place of work for the progress of the institution and the state in general.

Represented by the Secretary to Government of the State, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, Governor Yahaha said government is so much concerned about the rate of unemployment in the state explaining that his administration has already registered thousands of graduates in the state with a view to reducing them as opportunities from both the Federal and State avail.

While congratulating them for their appointments, the governor urged them to be responsible and supportive to their families.
Responding on behalf of parents and guardians of the beneficiaries, Alhaji Ma’awuya Mohammed Bello, expressed gratitude to the governor for the offer of the appointments assuring that, the appointees will not disappoint the government of the state, praying Allah to bless Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya’s administration.

The presentation ceremony was witnessed by Commissioner for Local Government and Community Development, Mohammed Abdulkadir, and Alhaji Sani Garba SSA General Duties to Gombe State Governor.
