The Minister of Federal Capital Territory Nyesom Wike, has granted approval for a sum of N280.3 million to provide scholarships for 13,946 underprivileged students in FCT.
On Thursday in Gwagwalada, Dr. Danlami Hayyo, Mandate Secretary of the Education Secretariat under the FCT Administration, announced the commencement of the accelerated rehabilitation project for 19 public schools spread across the FCT.
The ceremony was held at the School of the Gifted, located in Gwagwalada within the Gwagwalada Area Council of the FCT.
