Two students who were previously abducted from the Federal University Wukari in Taraba State have been released and are now free.
According to Mrs Agya Ashu, the Head of Information and Protocol at the institution, the aforementioned students were released on Thursday night, after being held captive for an undisclosed number of days.
Ashu declined to provide any information as to whether or not a ransom had been paid in exchange for their release but did confirm that the students are currently in good health.
Additional details regarding this situation will be forthcoming at a later time.
