In a statement released today by the State Chairman of APGA Osun, Wole Adedoyin, the party emphasised the importance of unity and prayers during this festive period. Adedoyin urged Muslims to utilise the occasion of Eid El-Fitri to offer prayers for the peace and security of Nigeria, particularly amidst the prevailing challenges.

Adedoyin reiterated the crucial role of peace in fostering social harmony and economic progress, emphasising that a peaceful environment is essential for individuals of all faiths to actively contribute to the nation’s development. He called upon Muslims and people of all religious persuasions to work collectively towards achieving lasting peace and stability.

As we celebrate Eid El-Fitri, let us remember the significance of peace in our society. It is only through unity and mutual understanding that we can overcome the challenges confronting our nation,” said Adedoyin. “We must stand together, regardless of religious or ethnic differences, and strive for a Nigeria where everyone can thrive in peace and prosperity.”

APGA Osun also commended the resilience and devotion demonstrated by Muslims throughout the month of Ramadan, emphasising the values of self-discipline, compassion, and generosity that characterize this sacred period.

The party reassured Muslims of its commitment to promoting inclusivity, religious tolerance, and peaceful coexistence among all residents of Osun State.
