CAGraM described it as an attempt to mislead the general public on the imbroglio.

Disclosing this in a statement made available to PERISCOPE NIGERIA, the South-West chairman of CAGraM Okedara Kolawole, noted that the propaganda was handiwork of mischievous elements.

Kolawole

He said, “They intend to create by bringing old pictures and video of CAGraM leadership bringing down the billboards erected by the expelled National Secretary of CAGraM Emmanuel Nwosu, lord Butches at APC headquarters over three months ago as directed by the Director of administration of the party Prof. A.A Adediwura.

“We advise the mischievous elements to stop those evil acts of misleading the progressives and the general public, the pictures and videos posted everywhere on social media and national dailies, as they have nothing to do with the capacity of the national chairman of our great party.”

Kolawole further passed vote of confidence in the chairman, adding “We affirm our solidarity and unflinching support at this period, we know the national chairman to be a bridge builder and a great nationalist who has united and brought success to the party in no small measure. The public shouldn’t be cajoled with wrong narrative please.”

The South-West CAGraM  chairman also waded in on alleged yoruba agitators who invaded the Oyo State Secretariat, urging them to take over power through democratic process.

“They should stop the barbaric, heinous and criminal act,  This disgraceful step is unbecoming of a true Omoluabi, your steps and acts could cause unrest, distabilisation, chaos and instability. Yoruba people are known to be peace loving and we strongly  condemn this evil act.

“We call on the authority to unravel and look into this affront and bring whoever is involved to book. The South-West believes in the renewed hope agenda of Mr President and we are solidly behind him and we hope and encourage Nigerians to keep hope alive, as Nigeria will soon reclaim its leadership position in the comity of the nation,” the statement added.
