Nigerian music sensation and entrepreneur, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has made a significant move in the music industry by partnering with UnitedMasters to establish his new record label, Nine+ Records.
This announcement comes with the dissolution of his former label, Davido Music Worldwide (DMW).
Under the terms of the deal, Davido will take charge of artist development and Artiste & Repertoire (A&R) duties for a roster of Nigerian talents.
In a recent update on his official X handle, Davido clarified the transition, stating that all artists currently signed to DMW will be transferred to Nine+ Records.
He wrote, “All dmw artists would be moved to Nine+ records …. Clearing the air!”
The list of artistes moving to the new label includes familiar names such as Dremo, Yonda, Peruzzi, Idowest from Lagos Island, DJ Ecool, Danagog, B-Red, Deekay, May D, Deinde, Ayanfe, Liya, Morravey, SayTheyCallMESG, and Logos Olori.
