Electricity distribution companies earn N1 trillion despite power supply challenges, with 5.8 million customers lacking meters.

The Eko Distribution Company: N52.8bn

The Abuja Electricity Distribution Company: N167.4bn

The Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company: N111.3bn,

Enugu Electricity Distribution Company: N82.5bn,

Yola ElectricityDistribution Company: N22.3bn

Benin Electricity Distribution Company: N84.6bn

Kaduna Electricity Distribution Company: N32.4bn

Jos Electricity Distribution Company:  N38.9bn

Kano Electricity Distribution Company: N55.2bn

Port-Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company N74.7bn

The amount has risen to N1.065 trillion, showing a growth of N234.4 billion or 28.2 percent compared to the N831 billion generated by the power companies during a similar period in 2022.

The National Bureau of Statistics released the electricity report on Monday.
