Ahead of the Local Government Chairmanship and counsellorship election in Gombe State, All Progressives Congress Kaltungo Local Government Area candidate, Iliya Suleiman, has led his deputy alongside ten counsellorship candidates on a visit to the Secretary to Government of Gombe State, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi.

PERISCOPE NIGERIA reports that the poll is scheduled to be held on Saturday 27th April, 2024.

According to Suleiman, the visit to the SGS becomes necessary in view of his position as a critical stakeholder in Kaltungo LGA and Gombe South as a whole.

“We are here to thank you and to as solicit for your support, guidance and fatherly advice as the election approaches,” he said.

Suleiman who formally presented the candidates to Njodi called for his support to enable them succeed in the coming LG Elections assuring them of their commitments to work as a team to move the local government forward if elected.

Responding, Njodi appreciated them for the visit and assured them of his total support to the APC and all the aspirants.

He congratulated them for emerging as candidates of the party and wished them success in the coming election.

He said, “Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has done a lot for Kaltungo local Government and Gombe State.”

The SGS used the medium to call on all and sundry to support all APC candidates in the forthcoming local government election for continued dividends of democracy across the state by the Inuwa Yahaya’s administration.
