The newly appointed National Youth Service Corps Coordinator, Chinwe Nwachukwu, has paid a courtesy visit to the Gombe State Police Headquarters on Friday.




PERISCOPE NIGERIA gathered that the visit was aimed to strengthen the bond between the NYSC and the law enforcement agency, foster collaboration and synergy for community development and safety.

Saad quoted Nwachukwu to have expressed gratitude to the Commissioner of Police Hayatu Usman, for the warm reception and emphasised the importance of partnership between the NYSC and the Nigeria police force in ensuring the safety and well-being of corps members and the community at large. She also expressed her gratitude towards the Command for providing security during camp activities.

The Commissioner of Police Usman, lauded the new Coordinator acknowledging the invaluable role of the NYSC in youth empowerment and nation-building.
He assured the new state coordinator of the Command’s unwavering support and collaboration in achieving shared objectives.
The NYSC Coordinator’s visit to the Gombe State Police Headquarters underscores the importance of inter-agency cooperation in addressing the diverse challenges facing Nigerian youth and communities. Such engagements are pivotal in fostering a safer and more prosperous society.
