The Executive Chairman of Gombe State Internal Revenue Service, Aisha Adamu, has promised to take the service to greater heights by ensuring that the revenue profile of the state is doubled under her watch.
Speaking to journalists in Gombe on Wednesday, the Executive Chairman said that the confidence, Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has in her pedigrees would not be compromised.
She reiterated her commitment towards ensuring meeting the revenue target of the state that Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has given to them.
According to her, she will operate an open door policy where every Staff will be carried along in the daily operations of the Service.
She pointed out that the welfare of the staff would be accorded top priority and warned the staff that the service will not tolerate indiscipline, corruption and other unhealthy activities under her tenure.
She said that the service will block all financial linkages and fake receipts circulating within and outside the service through her pragmatic mechanism she puts in place.
