….. Gombe, Zamfara SSGs others attend
The Chairman of the Forum of Northern States Secretaries of State Governments, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, on Saturday joined the representative of Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani, other high profile dignitaries from far and wide to attend the wedding fatiha of Hauwa’u Abdulkadir Mua’zu.
PERISCOPE NIGERIA reports that the bride is daughter of Kaduna State SGS, Dr Abdulkadir Mua’zu Mayere, and her spouse Abubakar Hamza Ishaq, a son to former SGS of Kaduna State, during the era of Governor Ramalan Yaro.
The wedding fatiha which took place at the Sultan Bello Mosque Kaduna, Kaduna State was witnessed by hundreds of well wishers.
Some of the guests include former Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Ahmed Mohammed Makarfi, members of National and State Assembly, the SGS Zamfara State, politicians, captains of industry, members of the traditional institution, Islamic clerics, friends/ well wishers of both the bride and groom’s families in attendance.
The marriage was consummated by the chief Imam of the masjid after fulfillment of all requirements for Islamic marriage rites and the payment of N200,000 naira dowry by the representative of the Groom to that of the Bride Senator Ahmed Mohammed Makarfi, and Honourable Kabiru Mu’azu Mayere, respectively.
Njodi who doubles as the Scribe of Gombe State, while congratulating his colleague SGS of Kaduna State and the newly wedded couple for the success of the event also conveyed the Chairman of the Northern States Governor’s forum, Governor of Gombe State Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, people of Gombe State best wishes urged the couple to build their marriage on trust and fear of Allah.
He also prayed God to guide and bless their new home.
Reacting, the visibly elated father of the bride, Mayere expressed gratitude to all those who made out time to identify with the two families in their moment of joy, praying God to reward and bless all for their show of love and magnanimity noting that, the two families will not take them for granted.
Guests were later treated to a civic reception at the Yar’adua International Conference Centre, Murtala Square Kaduna.
