In another trial, the infamous kidnapper known as Evans has chosen to pursue a plea bargain.
Convicted billionaire kidnapper, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, commonly referred to as Evans, along with his co-defendant Joseph Emeka, who are facing charges of murder and attempted kidnapping, have decided to pursue a plea bargain option.
On Thursday, during the case’s re-arraignment, lead prosecutor Yusuf Sule discussed the possibility of a plea bargain with the court.
The plea bargain terms are currently under review by Mr. Lawal Pedro, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) and the Attorney-General of Lagos State, as noted by the prosecutor.
