The former Governor of Katsina State, Barrister Ibrahim Shema, has officially defected today from the Peoples Democratic Party to the All Progressives Congress.
Shema was sighted in a picture alongside President Bola Tinubu and Governor Dikko Radda at the States House, Abuja.
The former governor was accompanied by the incumbent governor of the State, Umar Radda.
Shema, who previously served as governor under the PDP, has now moved to the APC, a decision that is expected to have implications for the political landscape in Katsina State and beyond.
