Meet, Adamu, a 12-year-old victim of domestic violence from Pindiga Akko Local Government Area of Gombe State.

He was accused of stealing a phone by his uncle, Yahaya Buba, aged 45 years old from Sambo Daji ward Tumu Akko.
Adamu was interrogated over a phone theft and his hands were tied with a plastic rope for hours which caused the hands to swell.


Both his accuser, his uncle, his father and the family took him to hospital where he was subsequently referred to various hospitals where it was determined that his hands has to be amputated for him to live.
The father being a poor man allegedly left everything in the hands of Allah and forgive his brother.
However the accused Buba has already been arrested and apprehended and currently cooling off at Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps.
It was reported that the boy is in need of government and every good Samaritan to help.
Upon hearing the news and seeing his pictures circulating on social media, the CEO of QAT Foundation Queen Halimat Adenike Tejuosho, quickly requested for details of the boy and his parents which ways provided.


She immediately sent journalists to fact check the situation for fact finding reports to get back to her and the delivery the following message from her to the parent of the boy as follows:
- That HRM Queen Dr. Halimat Adenike Tejousho joined the rest of patriotic citizens of Nigeria in identifying with the terrible condition brother Adamu find himself
- That Adamu should not lose hope inspite of his condition, he can still achieve his lifetime dreams with patient and trust in the will of God.
- That the parents of Adamu should not relent in taking charge of their responsibilities towards him and should take a good care of him without any form of discrimination whatsoever.
- The family will receive token of N50, 000 every month as long as God keeps her alive.
- That through her QAT foundation she will cover all the medical expenses of Adamu until he fully recovers.
- That our kindhearted Queen mother promised to take care of Adamu’s education to the university level
- That the family and entire members of the village should put Halimat Tejuoso in their daily prayers to God in order to be chosen as the minister of Humanitarian Affairs by President Bola Ahmed Tinibu
In his response, the father of Adamu, whose name was given as Mal. Mohammed welcomed the delegation with so much excitement.
He expressed gratitude and hearty appreciation to Tejuoso and prayed to God to answer her prayers of becoming the minister of Humanitarian Affairs, which according to him will be granted by the grace of God.
Adamu who broke into tears of joy promised to take good care of his son to the best of his ability, noting that the piece of admonition given to him by Tejuosho will be put to use.
Adamu Mohammed ( the victim) also expressed immense gratitude and commendations to Tejuosho for her uncommon humanitarian gestures towards him. Praying to Almighty God to reward her with the best rewards.
