The National Anthem Bill 2024 has been passed by the Senate, paving the way for Nigeria to revert to its old anthem.
Our correspondent reports that the old anthem is “Nigeria, We Hail Thee.”
This follows the bill’s passage by both chambers of the legislature last week.
The bill is now pending presidential approval before it can be officially enacted
