Taraba State Government on Friday said it has made available plans to construct sporting facilities in the second year of Governor Agbu Kefas’ administration in Wukari and Gembu to expose youths talent to the world.
Amb. Joseph Joshua, the state Commissioner for Youth and Sport, disclosed this while interacting with journalists in Jalingo.
He noted that Governor Kefas has also designed programmes for the renovation of the Jolly Nyame stadium Jalingo to boost sporting activities and discover more talent from the state.
The commissioner while commending Governor Agbu Kefas for his passion for sport development and discovery of young talents from Taraba who may represent Africa in the world sport competitions, Joshua disclosed that plans have been completed to revive both the Taraba FC and the Taraba Queens to the Nigeria Premier league.
