Heartland FC on Monday expressed concern over the accident involving Doma United.
PERISCOPE NIGERIA reports that the team was on its way back to their base after the Nigeria Premier Football League Matchday 35 tie in Owerri against the Naze Millionaires.
Our correspondent gathered that no life was lost.
The incident happened along Makurdi- Lafia road and Heartland General Manager, Promise Nwachukwu, said the Naze Millionaires are bothered by what happened to Doma United and are wishing the players and officials of the Savannah Tigers speedy recovery.
Nwachukwu said, “Heartland FC players and officials are bothered by what happened to Doma United. We just played against them yesterday (Sunday) and this happened today. We pray for quick recovery for the injured players.”
Recall that Heartland faced Doma United on Sunday and won the game 3-1 in Owerri.
