1.  The reported visit to Daura by Atiku could be likened to a Muslim pilgrim who went for Hajj but decided not to attend the mandatory  Ara’fat day until a week after.

2. Buhari will never like, support, or guide Atiku in any  of his political  bids.  Atiku is fully aware of the reasons and yet keeps on misleading himself.

3. Buhari inherently hates anything related or connected  to  traditional institutions,  because he has a perception that his parents, along with his siblings, were not treated “fairly” by the institution  when they were in their  midst. Atiku as the Wazirin Adamawa is guilty by association in Buhari’s unforgiven soul.

4. Buhari hates he  who is rich ( even though he does not decline gifts & campaign donations  from them). Northern Rich men, the Dangote’s, Abdulsamads’, Mangals, etc. can testify silently. Being a modestly rich person, Atiku will never be in Buhari’s good books.

5. Buhari hates politicians  (even though he was a beneficiary of their tricks and antics), particularly those who defeated him and made him cry in public. Atiku was part of the team that DEFEATED Buhari in 1999 and RIGGED  him out in 2003. Buhari is still a wounded lion for that .

6. Indeed, with Buhari’s  8 years of documented  disaster, Atiku Should have  consulted  widely & wisely, before undertaking the Daura Jamboree, a risky, belated, and fruitless visit that will never translate into any political benefit to him.

7. Consequently, Atiku wasted his time and resources, and that of those  who blindly escorted him to visit Buhari,  the man who destroyed all the essential fabrics of Nigeria, political, economic, social, sociological etc
