As part of her humanitarian activities to support the homeless, downtrodden, Persons With Disabilities, Queen Halimat Adenike Tejuosho, through QAT Foundation has fulfilled her promise of repairing a house belonging to one, Yusuf Mohammed Lawan which was pulled down by heavy downpour in Arawa, Gombe State.
The unfortunate incident which occurred on 13th June, 2024, was shared by Lawan through his Facebook post requesting for prayers that part of his house has been pulled down by heavy downpour.
Upon seeing the post, Tejuosho used her verified Facebook page @Halimat Adenike Tejuosho, to request for the cost of fixing it.

However, after receiving the cost, Tejuosho paid the full bill which an excited Lawan confirmed to Inclusive reporters correspondent.
While expressing his heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to the founder of QAT Foundation, Lawan said “Let me begin by giving thanks, glorifications and praises to Almighty Allah for His innumerable blessings towards us and especially towards our kindhearted Queen Mother Halimat Adenike Tejuosho, who has been doing everything humanly possible to alleviate the sufferings of the poor and needy in this hard time.”

He added, “Dr Halimat Tejuosho, as you painstakingly shoulder the responsibility of renovating the damaged area of our house which was recently pulled down as a result of heavy rain may Allah SWT crown your good efforts and rewards you richly, amen.”
While quoting legendary Philosopher, Mark Twain, Lawan added, “Its today that I realise the true meaning of the old adage coined by the legendary philosopher, Mark Twain ‘Kindness is a language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see’ which visibly manifested in you (Tejuosho).
“From the bottom of my heart, I thank you, and appreciate all you have done. Your generosity has given me new hope.
“Thank you very much for this kind gesture. Yusuf Mohammed Lawan.”
