Lamine Yamal, the 16-year-old sensation scored as Spain defeats France 2-1 to stormed into their 5th Euro finals in the first semi-final.
In a nervy first semi-final clash at Munich’s Allianz Arena, Yamal’s jaw-dropping equalizer at 21 minutes made him the youngest goalscorer in major tournament history at the age of 16 years, surpassing the legendary Pele of Brazil’s record of 17 years old.

France’s Randal Kolo Muani had drawn first blood, but Yamal’s strike sparked a Spanish frenzy! Dani Olmo’s wonder goal four minutes later put La Roja in the driver’s seat, with Olmo now leading the golden boot race with four goals!
Les Bleus struggled to find their footing, managing only two shots on goal after their opener. Spain dictated the pace, leaving France’s scoring woes to continue.
Luis de la Fuente’s men are now poised to end their major tournament drought since their federation’s golden era of 2010-2012. As they prepare to face either the Netherlands or England, in their quest to claim their fourth Euro title.
