The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences of Gombe State University, is organising maiden International Conference on the 6th to 8th August,2024 at the New multi-purpose hall of the varsity.
PERISCOPE NIGERIA reports that the International Conference which has the theme “Value system and core challenges in the contemporary global World,” has erudite scholars to deliver lead papers.
Major speakers include Professor of Media and Society who doubles as the Vice-Chancellor of Federal University Kashere, Gombe, Professor Umaru Pate, and Professor Samuel Zalanga, from Bethel University, Minnesota, United States of America.
According to the organisers who spoke on Tuesday, the Gombe State Commissioner for Information and Internal Security in Borno State, Professor Usman Tar, will deliver the keynote address while Professor Aliyu Usman El-Nafaty, the Vice-Chancellor of Gombe State University Gombe will be the chief host.
Professor Ibrahim Waziri Abubakar, the Dean, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences of the institution will be the host while Professor Adewale.O.Ogunrinade, is the Chairman,LOC.
The statement also invited academics, politicians, technocrats and the general public to attend.
