Fellow Nigerians,
We are gathering to protest against the government’s failure to address the insecurity in Northern Nigeria and the removal of fuel subsidy, which have led to economic hardship and suffering.
We want to emphasise that our protest is peaceful and non-violent not religious nor regional or in favour to any political party.
We will not engage in any form of violence, destruction of property, or disruption of public order.
We’ll abide by the laws of the land during our peaceful protests.
We’re not sponsored by anyone, it’s pure Nigeria’s protest where they can voice out some government policies that sink the country into the inflation which caused hardship to the people of Nigeria.
Our goal is to express our grievances and demands in a lawful and civil manner.
We believe in the power of peaceful protest to bring about positive change and hold our leaders accountable.
We will not be intimidated or provoked into violence by any agent of the government or any other entity.
Our protest is guided by the following principles
- Peacefulness: We will maintain a peaceful and non-violent atmosphere throughout the protest.
- Non-violence: We will not engage in any form of violence or destruction of property.
- Lawfulness: We will comply with all laws and regulations governing public protests.
- Respect: We will treat all individuals with respect and dignity, regardless of their background or affiliation.
Join us as we stand together to demand a better Nigeria.
Let us show that we can protest peacefully and effectively.
This write-up clearly communicates the peaceful and non-violent nature of the protest, and emphasises the importance of maintaining a lawful and respectful atmosphere. It also sets the tone for a positive and constructive protest that aims to bring about positive change in Nigeria.
