The Vice-Chancellor of Jewel University Gombe, Professor Muhammad Kabir, has disclosed that candidates with scores of 140 and above in the 2023/2024 or 2024/2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) with five credits level including English Language and Mathematics are eligible to come to the institution for admissions in their various departments.



Kabir made this disclosure in Gombe on Wednesday, in an interview with PERISCOPE NIGERIA.
The VC said, “Jewel University will close admissions on 12th August, 2024.”
According to Professor Muhammad Kabir, the various faculties such as faculty of management sciences offer B.Sc.Accounting, B.Sc.Taxation, B.Sc.Banking and Finance, B.Sc. Project Management, B.Sc.Transport Management Technology, B.Sc. Public Administration, B.Sc.Crmininology and Security Studies, B.Sc.Business Administration and B.Sc Economic while faculty of Computing and Environmental sciences has B.Sc Computer Science, B.Sc Cyber Security, B.Sc.Information and Communication Technology, B.Sc.Architecture, B.Sc.Building, B.Sc Quantity Surveying, B.Sc. Software Engineering and B.Sc.Data Science.
Kabir noted that apart from providing comfortable accommodation and convenience facilities ranging from four-bedroom, two-bedroom and one-bedroom for students, the varsity is reputable for providing a world-class University established to give sound and quality education to Nigerians at affordable cost.
“The Jewel University, Gombe is the newest and most innovative private university in the North-East region in Nigeria,” Kabir added.
