…political campaigns that are long on sleaze and short on substance

The All Progressives Congress, APC, in Edo State started their Senatorial Campaigns yesterday in Benin City, which is Edo South Senatorial District. Today, they birthed at Edo Central Senatorial District, Uromi precisely. The plan is to move to Edo North tomorrow.
What you cannot fail to recognize is the campaigns that are so badly disjointed coming from a group of people sickly seeking to grap power for pecuniary reasons. The issue threats, commission propaganda, promise hell on earth and peddle simultineous lies to hoodwink the good people of Edo State.
Most of them like Senator Adams Oshiomole, Pastor Ize-Iyamu, Comrade Philip Shaibu and a host of others are on missions of vendetta, nothing else. They have nothing meaningful to campaign against the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, candidate, Dr Asue Ighodalo, who is presently in the United States of America meeting with the the diaspora community to address them and bring them up to date on his mission and vision for a greater Edo State.
Edo State cannot be ruled based on anger, propaganda, vendetta, lies, deception, sleaze without substances like a group of hippies sleazing around bars arguing of drinks.
