As the Asue-Ogie governorship ward to wards campaign made a detour through Benin Agbor Road in Ikpoba Okha Local Government Area, visibly excited crowd in the area have declared their determination to vote for the governorship candidate of the PDP, Dr. Asue Ighodalo.
In a spontaneous reaction to the campaign tunes blaring from heavy speakers as the campaign train made its way, the people danced and waved, forcing the team to slow down. In no time the crowd grew as they continued to sing along the playing music.
Unable to resist such organic show of love, Ighodalo and his running mate alighted causing the crowd to surge forward to where their vehicle was.
Addressing the jubilant crowd, Barr Osarodion Ogie, Ighodalos running mate, greeted them and as they kept demanding to hear Ighodalo, he introduced him to them.
According to them, Edo has enjoyed peace and security as well as other developements in infrastructure for the past almost eight years under the PDP government, and has no reason to vote for any other party.
They therefore congratulated Dr. Asue Ighodalo and the PDP in advance as they assured that victory was non negotiable.
