….Looted rice means PDP in Edo has failed Edo State

On the 1st of August ,2024 , hungry Edo People looted rice bearing the insignia and nomenclature of the Edo State Government.While we condemn the resort to violence by the looters to loot the bags of rice , the empty rhetorics of Edo State Government on this issue has left more to be desired .The fact that rice meant for Edo People ended up in a private residence means PDP/Asue Ighodalo / Government in Edo State has failed Edo People and Edo State needs a change of Government.
In a July ,29th ,2024 , Publication of the Business Day Newspaper, the Edo State Government claimed to have distributed thousands of bags of rice to Edo People .It is said that communication is important, but comprehension is more important.The clear and concise understanding from the publication is that the thousands of bags of rice are already in the kitty of Edo State Citizens .
In a very revealing scenario, the said thousands of bags of rice said to have been distributed to Edo People, were found in a private residence in Urora , by the Benin By Pass , one of the egress out of Benin City.The location of the looting of the rice , tells an awful lot about the trajectory of the rice .
Why was the rice not stored in Edo State designated ware houses, if it was really for Edo People, following Standard Operational Procedure on the custody of public commodity.
Why was it not the Leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) that issued the said statement about the rice, but the person who issued same is an appointee of the Edo State Government.Why was the rice not distributed to Edo People before the protests ? You can only give holy communion during a mass , not in a funeral
Why did the PDP/Asue Ighodalo /Government Electronic PR Managers first lie that the rice belonged to the APC , only for the Edo State Government to own it and give spurious and incredulous explanations , not in sync with the narrative on the matter.
What the Media Team of the PDP/Asue Ighodalo/Edo State Government is doing is trying to simulate verisimilitude.However, the out come is theatre of the absurd .Edo State Tragi-,Comedy is about to come to an end . September 21st,2024 is the epiphany.It is the moment of truth .It is when Edo People will vote Senator Monday Okpebholo and Right Honourable Dennis Idahosa as Governor and Deputy Governor respectively of Edo State.
