…..seeks for synergy to tackle road crashes
The newly posted sector commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps Gombe State command Samson Kaura, has on Tuesday paid a familiarisation visit to Gombe State Government House.
The Secretary to Government of the State, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi received the sector commander on behalf of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, the government and people of Gombe State.
While welcoming the sector commander, the SGS noted that the new FRSC boss had already hit the ground running especially having participated in the state’s expanded security council chaired by Governor Yahaya on Monday.
Njodi enjoined the FRSC Commander to always share the commands perspective with the government adding that synergy is needed between the Corp and the State Government for the smooth operations.
He assured Kaura of Governor Yahaya’s continued support to the FRSC tasking the new sector commander and staff on hard work and dedication to duty.
Speaking earlier, the newly posted Sector Commander, Commander Samson Kaura said they were at the Government House on a familiarisation visit and appreciated the warm reception accorded him and his team.
Kaura thanked the state government for its continued support to the Corps and commended Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for his massive infrastructural development across the state.
He, thereafter sought for cooperation of the state government in the Corps’ readiness to ensure road traffic crashes are brought to the bearest minimum in Gombe State.
