Hon. Louis Imhandegbelo, Chairman of Esan South East Local Government Area, has commemorated his first year in office amidst a wave of political momentum, receiving defectors.
The event, marks a year of impactful governance, was further galvanized by a significant influx of defectors from various political parties, all pledging their support to the PDP gubernatorial ticket of Asuerinme Ighodalo and Osarodion Ogie.
PERISCOPE NIGERIA reports that over 800 new members were welcomed into the PDP fold, signifying a powerful vote of confidence in the Ighodalo-Ogie campaign and the leadership of Hon. Imhandegbelo at the local level, “This surge in support underscores a palpable desire for the transformative leadership that an Ighodalo-Ogie administration promise,” he said.
Imhandegbelo, said he is capitalising on the occasion, delivered a rousing call to action, urging residents to mobilise and secure victory for the PDP in the upcoming gubernatorial election.
He highlighted the tangible progress made within the local government during his tenure, citing advancements in infrastructure, security, healthcare, and economic empowerment programmes as testaments to effective governance.
Imhandegbelo outlined ambitious plans to further elevate Esan South East, promising intensified focus on infrastructure development across all sectors and a commitment to solidify the local government’s standing as a shining example of progress within Edo State.
