In the vast expanse of Borno’s land, where the wind carries the whispers of hope and the sun casts shadows of resilience, a new star has risen! Hon. Umar Ahmed Habib, the Zanna to Mai Kanuribe of Lagos, is a shining example of philanthropic leadership, youthful vigor, and humanitarian spirit.

Born on February 2, 1989, in Konduga LGA, Hon. Umar’s journey from humble beginnings to becoming a beacon of hope for his people has been nothing short of extraordinary. Like a river flowing with boundless generosity, Hon. Umar has poured his heart and resources into his community, nurturing it with the care of a gardener tending to his garden.

His educational journey, from his primary studies at Central Primary School, Konduga, to his secondary education at Government College Maiduguri and (link unavailable) in Accounting and Auditing from ESTAM Formation in Cotonou, played the melody of perseverance. Yet, it is his heart that beats with the rhythm of humanity.

Like a young tree growing with strength, his leadership has rooted itself in the fertile soil of his community’s needs, while his actions stretch toward the sky, reaching ever higher to uplift those around him. His appointment as the Zanna Kanuribe of Lagos and his ventures in the Bureau De Change business are but branches of his service, each one laden with the fruit of goodwill.

At such a youthful age, Hon. Umar’s achievements tower over his peers like a mountain rising above the horizon. While many see obstacles, he sees stepping stones! And while others may falter under the weight of responsibility, he embraces it with open arms.

He has become a voice for the voiceless, a pillar of strength for the downtrodden. Through his philanthropy during Ramadan, where he disbursed cash to party executives, local government leaders, and critical stakeholders, his hands extended like a bridge over troubled waters, providing the support that many desperately needed.

Hon. Umar is the sun that shines through the clouds, offering warmth and hope in times of despair. His leadership walks hand in hand with humility, a rare combination in today’s world. His generosity knows no season; it is ever-flowing, like a river that refuses to dry.

He is the lighthouse that guides ships through turbulent seas, his philanthropy lighting the way for others to follow. The youth of Borno, in particular, have found in him not just a leader but a mentor, a symbol of what can be achieved with dedication and a heart full of compassion.

Hon. Umar stands tall, his accomplishments an attestation to his unflinching determination to the welfare of his people, proving that greatness is not measured by age but by the impact one leaves on the world.

His work in supporting Islamic education, financial assistance to disaster victims, and consistent dedication to community development speaks volumes about the depth of his character. His words echo like the call to prayer, and his actions ripple through his community like a gentle breeze, touching the lives of everyone he encounters.

He wears the mantle of leadership not as a crown but as a responsibility, always mindful of the power it holds and the duty it commands. His humanitarian activism has earned him the respect and admiration of not only his peers but of generations yet to come, for he is planting seeds that will continue to bear fruit long after he is gone.

In the final analysis, Hon. Umar Ahmed Habib’s story is one of triumph, not just over personal challenges but over the collective trials of his people. He has become the beating heart of Borno, pumping life into every corner of the state through his tireless efforts.

His youthful exuberance, matched only by his wisdom beyond his years, sets him apart from others. As the sun sets and rises over Borno, it carries with it the legacy of a man who has given everything for his people. Indeed, Borno is blessed to have such a leader, a guiding star whose light will continue to shine for generations yet unborn.
